Meet The Cover Girl That Changed This Iconic Magazine
Last year Hugh Hefner decided to change up his iconic Playboy magazine by covering up all its models. The move was a hope to increase dwindling sales. The March/April 2017 issue brings the magazine back to it’s original stance with Chief Creative office and son of Hugh, Cooper Hefner, saying “Today we’re taking our identity back and reclaiming who we are.” Cooper says it wasn’t the bunnies that were the problem but the way they were portrayed. Get to know the first cover girl for the new and improved magazine Elizabeth Elam.
The magazine describes Miss March as an “unlikely amalgam of warmth, grit and obvious beauty.” Elizabeth Elam says posing for the magazine cover wasn’t nerve raking at all saying, “What’s scarier is sharing who you are with somebody.”
