Cardinals Stephen Piscotty Set A Baseball Record That No One Wanted

Stephen Piscotty is a right fielder for the St. Louis Cardinals who has just set a MLB record that no one ever wanted or even thought possible. In a game against the Cubs, Piscotty was hit by a baseball 3 times in the same at bat. How is this even possible? First Piscotty was hit by the pitch at his at bat. Then the Cub’s catcher through a dropped pitch to second hitting Piscotty in the arm as he slid into the plate. Last the Cub’s second baseman toss the ball to home to prevent Piscotty from scoring instead nailing him in the head.

What the MLB might have learned from this is that combining dodgeball with baseball might be a more exciting future for the sport. JK! Check out the footage below.
